Introduction to eperi sEcure Platform

eperi sEcure Platform acts as a proxy in the data stream between the clients and the SaaS application. It acts as an endpoint trusted by the client and terminates TLS in order to analyze the underlying data packets. If sensitive data is identified based on a pattern defined by a template or policy, encryption or tokenization is used before the data is forwarded to the SaaS application. Synchronous responses from the SaaS application are scanned for encrypted content and decrypted accordingly.

As shown in the following figure, eperi sEcure Platform runs as a web application on standard web application servers like Apache Tomcat or IBM WebSphere.
