Upgrade notes

Please note the following hints when upgrading to the new release.

Procedure

  1. Perform the upgrade as described in the eperi sEcure Platform Administrator Manual, section Operational Tasks > Upgrading to a new release.
    Important: If you are upgrading from a release < 24.13.3.4 then please also take into account the upgrade notes of previous releases below.
    Important: If you are upgrading from a release < 20.9.1.0 then please also take into account the upgrade notes of release 20.9.1.0.
  2. If you have already configured Ignite in the Gateway's Advanced Settings, please add the port in addition to the nodes' IP addresses for better performance.
  3. If you are using RAM as Master Key method, eperi recommends to disable the eperi sEcure Platform service start at boot time by executing the following command: 
    systemctl disable eperi-gateway
  4. The packages acl and vim-common are now additionally required by eperi sEcure Platform. Please check if those packages are already installed on your system. If not please install them before installing or upgrading eperi sEcure Platform.
  5. If necessary, for Solr 8 or higher versions please undate your Solr Config Set to v3. Consequently please execute a Re-Index (Please also consider that the re-index may cause a downtime for searches).
