Welcome to the Data Protection API Configuration Manual. It explains how to install, configure and administer the Data Protection API.
The eperi sEcure Platform (expanded by the Data Protection API) is designed to de-sensitize data which is sent to a web service by replacing original field values with substitute values. This process involves tokenization or encryption. These are functions / features of the eperi sEcure Platform which can be flexibly adapted to your needs.
The software you need for the installation is available at the eperi Customer Portal.
Upload all installation packages previously downloaded from the eperi Customer Portal to your target system. In order to upload the eperi software to your target system, you can choose between the following options: copy the files locally or use remote copy via SSH.
