Freeing your license in offline mode

If you run eperi sEcure Platform on a server which has no Internet access, you can free your license in the offline mode.

Procedure

  1. In the eperi sEcure Admin Console select Settings > License.


  2. On the License page click Relinquish License Request.
  3. Confirm the safety query with Yes.


  4. Download the file FreeLicenseRequest.req.
  5. Access the eperi Customer Portal at https://customer.eperi.de and log in with your username and password.
  6. In the main menu click LICENSES > ACTIVATE LICENSES.
  7. In the ACTIVATE LICENSE menu click Upload Free-License-Request.

  8. Select the FreeLicenseRequest.req file from the location where you previously saved it.

    The successful upload to the eperi Customer Portal will be confirmed with a corresponding message.

  9. Click Download Free-License-Response.

  10. Download the FreeLicenseResponse.resp file.

  11. Switch back to the eperi sEcure Admin Console and click Process License Server Response.


  12. In the pop-up menu select the FreeLicenseResponse.resp file from the location where you previously saved it and then click Submit.
    A success message indicates that you successfully freed your license:

Results

You have successfully freed your license in offline mode. You may now use this license for another instance of the eperi sEcure Platform.
