Restarting eperi sEcure Platform

eperi sEcure Platform runs as the service eperi-gateway on your operating system. You can restart the eperi sEcure Platform service from the command line. For configuration changes, this is almost always required.

Before you begin

A user with admin rights is required.

About this task

Note: The procedure described below is valid for Ubuntu 16.04 and higher. For older versions, please use the service command.

Procedure

  1. Connect to the target server using your preferred ssh tool (e.g., PuTTY) and log in.
  2. On the command line, execute the following command:
    sudo systemctl restart eperi-gateway
  3. After the service has restarted and in case you configured "RAM" as Master Key method, please enter your RAM password in the next 90 seconds as requested.

Results

eperi sEcure Platform is restarted and ready for operation again.
