Uploading the eperi software to the target system

Upload all installation packages previously downloaded from the eperi Customer Portal to your target system. In order to upload the eperi software to your target system, you can choose between the following options: copy the files locally or use remote copy via SSH.

Procedure

To upload the software, choose one of the following options:

Option 1: Copy the files locally Ask the system administrator to mount a USB stick and copy the installation files to a local file system.
Option 2: Copy the files remotely via SSH Use SCP to transfer the files to the target system. In order to do this, SSH needs to be activated and accessible through the firewall. Additionally, you need a user who is allowed to remotely log into the target system via SSH.

Copying the installation package via SSH (Option 2)

Example command:

scp eperi-adapter-restprotection-20.15.1.0-14007.x86_64.deb eperiuser@10.12.11.7:/home/eperiuser
