Cluster setup
For a production environment, a cluster setup is recommended for performance reasons. In such a setup, a loadbalancer distributes the incoming browser requests to multiple eperi sEcure Platform instances. The eperi sEcure Platform instances are connected to a Solr and a database cluster (e.g., a MariaDB Cluster).

About this task

In our examplary cluster setup, we use a MariaDB Galera Cluster with two database instances.

For Ubuntu:Perform the installation as described in the following tutorial: How To Install MariaDB Galera Cluster on Ubuntu 16.04.
For RHEL:Perform the installation as described in the following tutorial: How To Configure a Galera Cluster with MariaDB on CentOS 7 Servers.

You have successfully set up a database cluster (for example a MariaDB Galera Cluster).
