Please note the following guidelines regarding the backup and restore of the eperi sEcure Platform.

Backup Guidelines

Regarding backup, eperi recommends the following:

Perform regular backups of the eperi sEcure Platform databases and especially before any major change to the eperi sEcure Platform configuration.
In case the eperi sEcure Platform is running on a VM plattform, perform regular snapshots and VM backups.
Generally, eperi recommends to combine at least two types of backups, e.g. a regular backup of the eperi sEcure Platform database in combination with regular VM snapshots.

Regarding restore, eperi recommends the following options:

Option 1: Restore the eperi sEcure Platform databases and after that, perform a new installation of the eperi sEcure Platform.
Option 2: On a VM plattform, restore the eperi sEcure Platform from your VM snapshots / backups.
