Adding SharePoint fields to be encrypted (optional)

You can optionally configure Sharepoint fields to be encrypted by eperi sEcure Platform.

Before you begin

Your admin account has the following permissions:
  • Show SharePoint Configuration
  • Edit SharePoint Configuration
By default, the permissions above are assigned to the following roles:
  • Application Manager
  • Global Administrator

Procedure

  1. In the eperi sEcure Admin Console, go to the SharePoint tab and click Add field:
  2. In the pop-up displayed, enter a name of your choice in the field Name, e.g. Created By and in the field Internal name the SharePoint internal name, e.g. Author. Then, click Add.
  3. Repeat the above steps for additional fields to be encrypted.

Results

The SharePoint fields you have configured are now encrypted by eperi sEcure Platoform.
