Upgrade notes

Please note the following hints when upgrading to the new release.

Procedure

  1. As of Release 22.8.1.1, eperi sEcure Platform can only be licensed using Cluster licenses. In case you are still using an old Node license, please contact us.
  2. Something changed on this sprint.
  3. Perform the upgrade as described in the eperi sEcure Platform Administrator Manual, section Operational Tasks > Upgrading to a new release.
    1. Upgrading from < 25.15.0.0
      Important: If you are upgrading from a release < 25.15.0.0 then please also take into account the upgrade notes of previous releases below.
  4. If you have already configured Ignite in the eperi sEcure Platform Advanced Settings, please add the port in addition to the nodes' IP addresses for better performance.
  5. The packages acl and vim-common are now additionally required by eperi sEcure Platform. Please check if those packages are already installed on your system. If not please install them before installing or upgrading eperi sEcure Platform.
  6. If you are using RAM as Master Key method, eperi recommends to disable the Gateway service start at boot time by executing the following command: 
    systemctl disable eperi-gateway
