Configuring eperi sEcure Platform as a proxy in the browser

Configure eperi sEcure Platform as a proxy in the browser settings, so that all data traffic between the user and Salesforce is routed through eperi sEcure Platform.

1. Access the network settings of your web browser.
2. Switch to manual proxy configuration and configure the proxy as follows:
   • HTTP Proxy: Enter the URL of your eperi sEcure Platform, e.g., http://demo.eperi-cdp.com
   • Port: Enter the port as configured in the settings of the forward proxy (see Creating a forward proxy and adding the Salesforce app to it), e.g., 8083
3. If you are using the Root Certificate of the eperi sEcure Platform, proceed as follows:
   1. Access the eperi sEcure Admin Console and select Settings > Certificate Authority.
   2. Click Download certificate authority and download the certificate file.
   3. Depending on the browser used, import the certificate as Trusted Certificate Authority into your operating system (Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Edge) or import it directly into your browser (Mozilla Firefox).
