Mapping an AD group to administrator roles

Map a group in your Active Directory to one or more administrator roles in eperi sEcure Platform.

Before you begin

You have successfully connected your Active Directory to eperi sEcure Platform (see section Connecting your Active Directory to eperi sEcure Platform for details).

Procedure

  1. Select User Management > AD Mapping in the main menu.
  2. Click + New in the upper right corner.

  3. In the pop-up menu, enter the required information and then click Submit.

    Option Description
    Description A description of your choice for the group mapping
    Distinguish Name The distinguished name (DN) of the respective Active Directory group
    The new group mapping is created and displayed in the list.

  4. To map one or more administrator roles to the Active Directory group, click the Assign Roles action.
  5. In the pop-up menu, select the administrator roles you want to assign to the AD group, then click Assign.

Results

You have successfully mapped a group in your Active Directory to one or more administrator roles in eperi sEcure Platform. A user who is a member of the AD group can now log in to the eperi sEcure Admin Console with his AD credentials. Furthermore, the user has the administrator roles which you have assigned to the corresponding AD group.
